How the Pathway to Pay Program Works
Pathway to Pay provides a clear pathway from housing instability to reliable, recurring paid work. Our program is designed to support participants from their first application through long-term income stability, using a structured intake, placement, and coaching model.

Application and Onboarding
The first step is completing our short online application. Our intake team then contacts you to confirm eligibility, discuss availability, and understand your work goals. Once approved, you receive onboarding, digital access, and any needed support such as transportation or tools to ensure you are fully prepared to begin working.

Job Placement and Ongoing Support
Once approved, participants are placed into recurring paid work through Pathway to Pay’s network of employers and service partners. These are guaranteed shifts — not one-off gigs — so participants can rely on consistent weekly income.
Our team provides ongoing coaching, scheduling support, and regular check-ins to help participants keep their placements, increase their hours, and move toward long-term income stability.

Who is this program for?
The program is best for people who are ready to work but lack access to stable job opportunities. This includes individuals living in shelters, foster care, transitional or temporary housing, or anyone who is underemployed and needs consistent income, predictable schedules, and ongoing support to succeed.
